Decisions
By Suzanne Leitz |
Decisions, decisions, decisions.
We are constantly making decisions, large and
small, all day long. Life is full of decisions; you're either making one or
living on the result of one. Decisions make you what you are. In fact,
what you are today is a result of decisions you made yesterday.
Advertisements ask that you make choices.
People ask that you make choices. Faced with choices on all sides, you should
not neglect the most important choice: God. Joshua 24:15 says
"choose you this day whom you will serve."
The choice is yours. God does not impose
His will on anyone. We are given a choice. Walking a godly life is
a choice. Having a close relationship with God is a choice. These things don't
just happen.
"I call heaven and earth to witness this
day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and
cursing: therefore, choose life, that both you and your seed may live." (Deuteronomy
30:19)
If you want a relationship with God as your
father, the first choice is to make Jesus your Lord.
Then, as a child of God, take advantage of the bold access you now enjoy into
God's presence. (Hebrews 10:19-22) Fellowship freely with
Him!
Make the right decision. To choose God is
to choose life. To choose God is to choose blessing. Choose to
know God and choose to live a godly life.
As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
