Pastor Frank donates tractor to mission field
July, 2005--About 20 years ago
Pastor Frank bought an old tractor which he used around his property to
bush-hog and do light dirt work. Recently, he hasn't used it much,
partly
because
it was so hard to start up, among other things.
After visiting the mission field in Costa
Rica last summer, Pastor felt impressed to donate his tractor to help
with the difficult, time-consuming task of clearing jungle growth that
missionaries do on a regular basis--using only a machete. Of course, the first order of
business was to fix the tractor.
Enter expert mechanic Louis Smith. Bro.
Louis donated his time and expertise to turn a dirty, old, temperamental
tractor into one which is like new! Not only did he replace old parts
and fix the motor, he repainted it inside and out. Too bad we don't have
a "before" picture, but here are some "after" pictures.
